Job Title: Control Centre CCTV Operator
Location: Stellenbosch (full-time)
Job Purpose:
Monitor cameras, respond to security incidents, and maintain a secure environment. Dispatch armed response vehicles and emergency services when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emergency Response: Contact emergency services and coordinate with security personnel.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, coordinate with responders, and maintain incident logs.
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment and report malfunctions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports.
- Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Requirements:
- PSIRA grade A security qualification
- 2+ years CCTV monitoring experience with dispatching
- Excellent communication and observational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
- Own transport
- Sober habits
- Ability to work night shifts (17h00-05h00)
